"Booking took forever"
I was just trying to get my booking done and it ended up taking way longer than it should have because the payment failed twice with no clear explanation, so I kept checking my details and trying again and still had no idea what was going wrong
"Pretty easy to use overall"
I used Alitalia to look up flights and book a ticket, and honestly... it was straightforward. I could find the dates and prices without going in circles, which I always appreciate.
The payment page was clear too, no weird surprises there. It did load a bit slowly for me at one point, though, and on mobile some of the menus felt like they could be a little simpler.
Overall, it worked fine and I didn’t really get stuck. Just a few small things that could be smoother, but nothing major. I’d give it 4 stars

"and the onboard service was really disappointing"
the flight was already stressful enough, but the service on board just made it worse. The crew hardly smiled, took forever to respond to the call button, and the drinks arrived really late. I asked a simple question and the reply felt rushed and a bit rude. Definitely not what I expected, and I’d avoid flying ITA again if I have another option

"My ITA flight ended up being almost..."
My ITA flight ended up being almost 2 hours late, which was really frustrating. The weird part is the updates weren’t very clear, so everyone was just kind of waiting around without knowing what was actually going on. The staff were fine, but the whole experience was annoying. I wouldn’t recommend it if you really need to be somewhere on time...
"Got My Booking Sorted Without Too Much Hassle"
I had an issue with my booking and just wanted it fixed fast so I could stop stressing about it. Customer service got back to me quickly and helped sort it out. It wasn’t totally perfect, but they got me taken care of, so I’m happy enough with the experience.

The staff were polite enough, so I can’t really complain too much. But did I feel like they were especially helpful? Not really. It kind of felt like they were trying to move things along quickly, and I ended up feeling a bit rushed.

"Check-in was refreshingly easy"
I used ita-airways.com to check in the day before my flight, i was relieved by how simple it felt. It found my booking quickly, and I had my boarding pass ready without any real stress, which made the whole pre-flight process feel a lot calmer.
The only tiny frustration was the seat selection page being a bit slow, and I did have to refresh it once. But it wasn’t a huge deal, and in the end everything worked fine, so I walked away feeling satisfied.

"Food really wasn’t how I remember airline meals being"
I flew with ITA recently, the food was disappointing. From what I remember, the pasta came out cold and kind of dry, and the bread tasted like it had been sitting around for a while. The coffee was really weak too, almost like hot water with a bit of flavor. Even getting a drink took longer than I expected, I’m sure I had to ask twice just for water. Overall, it just wasn’t a good meal experience and definitely not what I had in mind.

"Refund process felt unnecessarily slow"
I ended up waiting weeks for my refund, which was frustrating. Every time I reached out to support, the answers were vague and didn’t really explain what was going on. It kind of felt like nobody was in a hurry to actually resolve it.

I’m confused by how messy the cabin was. There were crumbs all over my seat, the tray table was sticky, and the bathroom smelled really bad. Like… how was this okay?? Definitely not a great experience.

It’s okay for what I paid, but I still feel like it could be a bit cheaper. It does the job, I guess. I just wouldn’t expect much help from customer service if something went wrong, so that makes me a little hesitant.

I booked directly through ita-airways.com, so I figured the Volare points would show up without any drama. Weeks later, nothing. I sent in receipts and all the details, and just got the same copy-paste response back, which made me wonder if anyone was even looking at it. The status benefits aren’t very clear either, and it feels like you have to chase them for every little thing. Maybe it works for some people, but my experience made the whole program feel messy and kind of suspicious. Not worth the hassle.

"The app work fine for my trips"
I was use the ITA Airways app to check in and add my boarding pass, and it went okay. It’s not the fastest app ever, sometimes it take a little time to load, but the basic stuff was working fine for me.

"Bags made it fine"
Flew ITA last week, and bag handling was solid. My checked bag showed up about 15 mins after landing, no damage, nothing missing. Drop-off staff weren’t exactly warm, but they were quick. Had a tight connection, so I was nervous, but the bag made it. Not perfect, still happy overall.

"Cancelled flight, barely any support"
My ITA Airways flight was cancelled at the last minute, the whole situation was a mess. I was checking my email and the app constantly, but the updates were vague and not very helpful. The staff didn’t seem to have much information either, so everyone was just standing around trying to figure out what was going on.
Rebooking took way longer than it should have, and I ended up losing money on my hotel and transport because of it. I get that cancellations can happen, but the way ITA handled it felt careless. I’d avoid booking with them again unless I really had no better option.

"Honestly, those seats were unacceptable"
After about an hour, my back was already hurting and I couldn’t get comfortable at all. I get that travel isn’t always luxurious, but charging people for seats that bad just feels wrong. I definitely wouldn’t choose this again.
